About Dom
I'm an Associate Therapist in California with nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field. I've worked with foster, adoptive, and juvenile youth, suicidal callers on the hotline, students of all ages, and trauma survivors. What initially drew me to this work was an early childhood longing to relieve the pain that I witnessed in others and felt in myself. I was drawn to deep conversations, questioning the status quo, and sensing harmful patterns to ignite change. These gifts often left me feeling out of place and misunderstood, retreating inward for safety and solace.
Dalisay Soul emerged from my personal journey. From the Tagalog word meaning true and sincere, Dalisay Soul is the reclamation of my authentic self, soul, and life. Unknowingly heightened with sensitivity and empathy, weighted by my family’s wounded battles, and filled with rage against the world’s oppressors, I lost myself. I moved through each day operating from a place of survival and societal conditioning, distorting my reality and dismissing my truths out of fear. My own experience in therapy was when I began to unravel my tangled thoughts and unmask my layered armor. And soon again, I returned home.
Honoring the humble roots of my Filipino lineage, I remain a student of life—continually evolving by transmuting my ancestral history, lived experiences, training, and education into embodied wisdom through spiritual practice, creative expression, community connection, and introspection. I hope to share the art of my therapy presence and practice with all of those seeking change in themselves, their community, and their world.

We acknowledge that this work takes place on the ancestral lands of the Tamien Nation and within the Ohlone region.
