About Me
Welcome. My name is Dom, founder of Dalisay Soul. Dalisay is a Tagalog word that speaks to the heart of my psychotherapy practice—be your truth. Dalisay Soul emerged from my search for truth in my personal healing journey and professional path. It is the collection of wisdom passed down to me, along with my ongoing learning of the human experience, understood through my lens as a Filipina woman of color and daughter of immigrants.
In my work, I've seen how confusion and pain can pull us away from who we are, but it can also reveal a pathway back to ourselves. With this understanding, I follow your inner wisdom and allow your natural movement to unfold—away from unwanted cycles and toward a restoration of peace, power, community connection, and deeper alignment with your fullest self.
My approach integrates trauma-informed, culturally responsive, somatic-oriented, mindfulness-based, identify affirming, and skills-based modalities to guide each session. I've intentionally chosen a range of modalities that attune to the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I've found that weaving a blend of approaches truly honors the complexities and wholeness of being human.
Dalisay Soul honors the human experience as a sacred journey. It tests us, shapes us, and ultimately asks us who we want to be. And as your therapist, I'm here to walk alongside you. We will slow down, listen, be present, and take steps forward together.
